Course Terms and Conditions
1. Reservations and Tee Times
- Booking: Reserve your tee times online, by phone, or in person up to 14 days in advance.
- Group Bookings: For groups larger than 12, please contact the pro shop.
2. Payment Policies
- Fees: All fees, including green fees, cart rentals, and equipment rentals, must be paid in full before tee-off.
- Methods of Payment: We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. Personal checks are not accepted.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
- Individual Reservations: Cancel at least 2 hours in advance to receive a full refund.
- Group Reservations: Groups must cancel at least 2 days in advance. A cancellation fee may apply.
- No-Shows: Failure to cancel will result in a charge of the full reservation amount.
4. Dress Code
- Appropriate Attire: Appropriate golf attire requested. Shirts must be worn at all times. No pajamas, sweatpants, or tank tops permitted.
- Enforcement: Management reserves the right to refuse access to anyone not adhering to the dress code.
5. Golf Course Etiquette
- Pace of Play: Maintain a reasonable pace. Rangers may direct slower groups to allow faster groups to play through. 2 hours per 9 holes is expected.
- Course Care: Please repair ball marks, replace/sand divots, and rake bunkers after use.
6. Liability
- Assumption of Risk: Players assume all risks associated with playing golf, including injuries from errant shots.
- Damages: Guests are responsible for any damage to the course, facilities, equipment, or neighboring properties.
7. Weather Policy
- Course Closure: In case of severe weather, the course may be closed. Notifications will be posted online and at the clubhouse.
- Rain Checks: Rain checks may be issued at the discretion of management if the course is deemed unplayable.
8. Golf Carts and Equipment Rental
- Eligibility: Golf cart operators must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver’s license.
- Usage: Carts must be kept on paths where indicated and returned in good condition.
- Liability: Renters are responsible for any damage to carts or rented equipment.
9. Personal Property
- Valuables: Black Squirrel Golf Club is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
10. Alcohol and Smoking Policy
- Alcohol Consumption: Only alcohol purchased on-site may be consumed on the premises. Outside alcohol is prohibited by law.
- Smoking: Smoking is not permitted around clubhouse.
11. Code of Conduct
- Behavior: Guests must conduct themselves appropriately at all times. Abusive language, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Enforcement: Violations may result in removal from the premises without refund.
12. Photography and Media
- Consent: By entering the premises, you consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional purposes.
- Restrictions: Commercial photography requires prior written consent from management.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Indiana.
14. Amendments
Black Squirrel Golf Club reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and at the clubhouse.
Membership Terms and Conditions
- Membership Eligibility: Membership is open to individuals aged 18 years or older who meet the club’s eligibility criteria and agree to abide by its rules and regulations.
- Membership Types: The club offers various membership types (e.g., individual, family, corporate) with different privileges and fees. Members must select the appropriate type at the time of enrollment.
- Membership Fees: Members are required to pay annual membership fees as determined by the club. Fees are non-refundable and subject to change with prior notice.
- Membership Privileges: Members are entitled to use club facilities and participate in club events and activities according to their membership type. Additional fees may apply for certain services or events.
- Code of Conduct: Members agree to conduct themselves in a manner that upholds the club’s standards of etiquette, respect for fellow members, and adherence to club policies.
- Guests and Visitors: Members may be allowed to bring guests or visitors to the club under specified conditions and with prior approval from club management. Guest fees may apply.
- Reservation and Cancellation Policies: Members are responsible for adhering to reservation policies for tee times, dining, events, or other club facilities. Cancellation policies may apply for reservations.
- Facility Use and Safety: Members agree to use club facilities responsibly and to adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
- Termination of Membership: The club reserves the right to terminate or suspend membership for violations of club rules, non-payment of fees, or other reasons deemed appropriate by club management.
- Amendment of Terms: These terms and conditions are subject to change by the club with prior notice to members. Continued membership constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
